What can I expect at Fellowship Baptist Church?
A Friendly Face at the door!
Where are you located?
We gather at 1700 89th Street, a few blocks east of 22nd Avenue in southern Kenosha. The entrance to our parking lot is located on the north side of the street. Turn into the parking lot and close to the church you'll find “Guest Parking” signs for you. Before you walk in the church be prepared for a warm welcome from one of our greeters.
Where do I enter?
The main doors are at the northeast corner of the parking lot. One of our greeters will gladly welcome you and provide any assistance you may need. As you come in the door, the sanctuary is directly ahead of you. Restrooms are to the right or down the hall to the left. You'll find coat racks located to the left and right as you enter.
Where do I take my young children?
We have nursery for children ages 0 - 3 years old. As you enter, turn to the left. The nursery is located on the right side of the hall.
If you have children 4 years old - 5th grade, bring them with you into the sanctuary. They will be dismissed for a children's lesson if they would like to attend it.
We aim to provide a safe and engaging environment for children. All of our children's workers have been through a thorough background check process, and we have a "two-worker" policy with the children at all times they are in our care.
When should I arrive?
We have coffee and snacks available in the Fellowship Hall. Feel free to come early and get to know some folks. We have a Bible Study on Sunday at 9:15 am.
Following Bible Study, at 10:30 am we have a worship gathering in the sanctuary.
What if I cannot attend during the regular Sunday gathering?
If you cannot gather with us this Sunday, follow us on YouTube.
How should I dress?
Some gather in shorts, a t-shirt, and flip-flops (usually not in the winter), while others wear suit and tie or a Sunday dress. Dress as you feel comfortable.
What should I bring?
If you have a Bible, we encourage you to bring it with you. If you don't have one, we'll gladly provide you with one that you can keep. If you have a Bible app, feel free to use it.
